Managing Director
Philip J. DeAngelo is the Managing Director of Focused Wealth Management, an SEC Registered Investment Advisor headquartered at 11 Balmville Road Newburgh, NY. Philip is a Registered Principal with Securities America Inc. and serves as chairman of Focused Wealth Management’s Investment Committee.
Philip graduated from Pace University with a degree in Economics. He completed and received certificate from the Wharton School of Business Aresty Institute of Executive Education.
Philip holds his Series 7, 66, and 24 licenses and has been engaged in asset management for the past twenty-four years. Through the years, Phil has been featured in several publications including; FA Magazine, Institutional Investor, Investment News, Rep. Magazine, Seeking Alpha, The Wall Street Journal, and Wealth Management.
In addition to building strategic client relationships with nonprofit organizations and individuals, Philip serves as chairman of Focused Wealth Management’s Investment Committee.
Philip is cofounder of Greenhook Ginsmiths and St. Agrestis Importers (beverage companies based in Brooklyn, NY). Philip established Liberty Street Bistro in the inner City of Newburgh with Chef Michael Kelly and is currently partners with Chef Kelly in the Flour Shop Bakery on Liberty Street also in the City of Newburgh. Most recently, Phil and his firm purchased the former “Johnes Home” property designed by noted architect Francis Abreau in 1933 in Newburgh New York. He painstakingly under took a three-year full restoration of the 34,000 square foot property and build out of modern office space to create a hi tech office facility in the middle of the Hudson Valley.
Philip currently serves on the Board of Directors of Mount Saint Mary’s College as a Trustee, a member of the Executive Committee and is Chair of the Advancement Committee. Phil just completed service on the Board of Directors of The Powelton Club as Past President after 12 years. Phil is a board member for the Jewish Federation of Orange County Foundation. He is a co-founder of The Mount Saint Mary College Invitational Tennis Tournament, The Jawonio Tennis Tournament and also co- founder of the RiverView Run for Parkinson’s research. Phil is also an active runner and donor for Team Fox, and member of the Michael J. Fox Foundation.
He resides in Orange County, New York, with his wife Tina and their daughters Mariella and Cecelia.
