Charles Yarnold, AIF^®, RSSA^®, CPFA^®

Charles Yarnold is the Managing Director of Retirement Plan Services at Focused Wealth Management, an SEC-Registered Investment Advisor based in Newburgh, NY. He also serves as a Registered Representative with Osaic and is an active member of Focused Wealth Management’s Investment Committee.

A graduate of Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute with a degree in Business Management, Charles holds his Series 7, 6, 63, and 66 licenses, as well as a life and health insurance license. He has also earned the Accredited Investment Fiduciary (AIF®), Registered Social Security Analyst® (RSSA®) and Certified Plan Fiduciary Advisor (CPFA®) designations.

With more than 20 years of experience in wealth management, Charles specializes in building lasting client relationships with individuals, companies, unions, and organizations. He co-manages a wide range of accounts, including individual portfolios and institutional retirement plans such as 401(k), 403(b), deferred compensation, pension, endowment, and trust accounts.

At Focused Wealth Management, Charles oversees the Retirement Plan Division, which is committed to delivering superior service to plan participants while providing cost-effective, high-quality retirement plan solutions. His team leads participant education initiatives, helping employees maximize the value of their 401(k), 403(b), and 457 retirement plans. He and his team also provide fiduciary oversight, ensuring that every plan under their management operates efficiently, remains compliant with current regulations, and meets the highest standards of governance.

Beyond his professional work, Charles is deeply engaged in his community. He co-founded the RiverView Run to support Parkinson’s research, is an active supporter of the Michael J. Fox Foundation through Team Fox, and has previously served on the board of the Crystal Run Village Foundation, a nonprofit dedicated to individuals with developmental disabilities.

A former All-Decade pitcher for the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute baseball team, Charles remains passionate about sports and community involvement. He and his wife, Kimberly, are the proud parents of their daughter, Ariella, and son, Aiden.
